What will you be doing between the hours of 12 pm and 7 pm on Sunday, March 15th? If you live in NYC you should consider coming to the Sugar Hill Market which will take place in Harlem at 259 West 132nd Street. It is an indoor event that occupies the two floors of a Brownstone with designers and artisans. This event will provide a platform for start-ups and young designers to show off their crafts.
Shoppers will find pieces ranging from hair accessories and dresses made with traditional African wax prints, vintage clothing, Afro-centric Warhol prints, home furnishings, scented candles, beauty products, and Harlem-centric tees and handbags. Shoppers will also get to meet the local designers and find out more about their crafts.
Sugar Hill Market was launched in March 2014 and has become Harlem’s most popular flea market which rivals other artisanal flea markets in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Currently, the market runs every 2 weeks.
