I was checking out one of my favorite natural hair websites a month ago and came across honey and sage deep conditioner by Alikay Naturals which was recommended as one of the best deep conditioners for 4C hair type. You see, I’m always on the lookout for a great deep conditioner. The few I’ve tried were either good but smelt bad or just overall bad for my hair. So, I was stuck with using mostly Organic Root Stimulator hair mayonnaise because it was the only one that didn’t have a distinct smell and moisturized my hair leaving it soft and strong. However, as much as I love ORS hair mayonnaise it still has some bad chemicals like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Methyl Paraben and Propyl Paraben. It can be tough to find a hair product that is 100% organic. Some natural products may be organic but still contain at least 10% chemicals. Honey and sage deep conditioner is 100% natural but 90% organic.

My review:

First off, it smells really good! Most likely the best smelling deep conditioner I’ve ever used. After applying it and covering my hair with a plastic cap, I let it condition my hair for at least 40 minutes (I’m not good with directions) without heat before rinsing it out. I didn’t even want to rinse it out because I hated the idea of missing that yummy smell. After rinse, I noticed immediately how soft and smooth my hair was and not to mention how great my hair smelt. My hair absolutely loved it! This is no doubt going to be a staple product. I give it two thumbs up and highly recommend it.
