Do you have any face mask for acne or any mask at all that you swear by? How many times a week or month do you mask and what does your favorite mask do for your skin?
As for me, I love masks that target my skin concerns such as acne and dark spots. But sadly, I don’t use face masks as often as I should even though my skincare routine suggested I use them at least once a week, preferably on weekends.
As most of you already know, I’m a huge fan of The Ordinary skincare products. They are extremely affordable and get the job done fast!
But not long ago, I decided to try another cheap brand called The Inkeylist. You can find the products at Sephora if you are interested.
I had breakouts a few days after using the 3 products I purchased at Sephora – Beta Hydroxy Acid, Q10 and Collagen Booster. It was probably purging but I was uncomfortable and stopped using the products.
This is the face mask for acne you need!
To treat the breakouts, I bought The Ordinary Salicylic Acid Masque, which proved to be quite the face mask for acne. The breakouts didn’t disappear completely after first use but it started the process and eventually they went away.
Knowing what I know now about the difference between breakouts and purging, I think what I thought were breakouts were actually purging. The products were probably working by getting all the gunk out. But I panicked and stopped using them. Maybe I should restart usage and see what happens.
Anyway, I highly recommend The Ordinary Salicylic Acid Masque if you suffer from acne. I especially love how it tightens my skin when it’s on my face giving me the impression that the breakouts are being sucked out.
